Manufactured in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, this model 428 rocking chair has the recognisable oyster-shaped seat made of solid elm with beech frame and spindles. The gold Ercol label is evident on the underside of the seat, dating this chair to somewhere between 1981 and 1995.

Structurally, the chair is in very good condition as one would expect from a newer piece.
