Studio Pottery Vase, Copper Pottery
A stoneware vase by Terry Davies for Copper Pottery - a small, hand-thrown, oil-fired, stoneware production studio pottery. Davies began his creative journey at the Copper Pottery as a studio apprentice working in the Leach tradition between 1977-78.
The vase is hand thrown in bottle form and decorated with grey and green glazes on an exposed stoneware base. The vessel bears the Cooper Pottery "CP" impressed backstamp to the base which also features a small hole to string a light fitting through.
The vase is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or loss of glaze.
