Picquot Ware was first created in 1932 by the British company Burrage & Boyd.  The set is made from a specifically developed alloy called Magnaillium - a magnesium and aluminium mix - which, when polished produces a silver-like appearance.  Cast in one piece to ensure no leaks occur around the spout, the tableware has a number of distinctive features including milled lid hinges for a perfect fit, heat resistance handles made of sycamore, hornbeam lid lifters and trays with heat resistant centres.

This set comprises an R6/1 serving tray, TB teapot, JB hot water/coffee jug, CB creamer and SB sugar bowl.

In good condition with age-related wear with tarnishing to interior of teapot.
