Fibreglass Side Chair by Charles & Ray Eames for Hille
Designed by Charles and Ray Eames and manufactured by Hille of London Ltd under licence from Herman Miller, Inc., this elephant grey fibreglass side shell sits on a tubular steel ‘DSS’ stacking base. The original paper label is evident to the underside.
The shell is in good vintage condition with some small scuffs to the back and there is a piece of fibreglass missing from the seat edge as shown in the images. The base has some pitting and loss to the zinc finish in places, but overall it’s in good condition and the glides are all fully functionally.
