An acrylic on paper abstract composition signed by the artist, Raymond Lockyer. Featuring a muted palette of blues, greens and reds offset with dark greys and areas of brilliant white, the artwork - titled Monoliths - sits in a glazed and untreated beech frame. A submission label for the Royal Academy’s Summer Exhibition (1985) is evident on the reverse.
The painting, mount and glazing are all in excellent condition, however there is some age-related wear to the frame.
